Food & Drink

Enjoying all there is to do here is sure to make you hungry and thirsty. The restaurantsbreweries, and wineries in our Petoskey area communities will make your northern Michigan vacation even more special. From white tablecloth dining to a beer and a burger, Petoskey restaurants really have things cookin’.

Restaurants

The restaurant scene in Downtown Petoskey has favorites like City Park Grill, Palette Bistro, Chandler’s Restaurant, and Mitchell Street Pub. Or newer to town places like Lehto’s Osteria (Italian cuisine), Sam’s Graces (previously in Harbor Springs), or The Grove Beverage Café. Harbor Springs has several restaurants who have stood the test of time and become Downtown Harbor Springs staples: The Pier Restaurant, The New York Restaurant, and Turkey’s Café & Pizzeria. Boyne City has great restaurants like Café Sante, Stiggs Brewery & Kitchen, and Boyne River Inn.

Wineries

Looking for the Tip of the Mitt Wine Region? The Petoskey Wine Region is home to 14 wineries waiting to be explored. Petoskey Farms Vineyard & Winery and Boyne Valley Vineyards are a couple of our favorites to get you started. Some local wines are made at more-than-just-winery locations like Pond Hill Farm. This place is great for all sorts of family fun adventures with a playground, café, brewery, wine tasting room, farm animals, trails, and a trout pond. Pond Hill Farm is open in all seasons too!

Breweries

The Petoskey Area was a solid mix of historic breweries, innovative breweries/cideries, and scenic farm beer spots. You’ll not be satisfied with just a taste or two, you’ll want to try a flight of beer and to come back in other seasons as well. Check out our blog Tapping into the Petoskey Area’s Brewing Scene for a great guide on all things Petoskey Area Breweries and Cideries. Want a unique way to experience the local breweries? How about checking out the area’s Bikeable Breweries in this blog.

Distilleries & Spirits

Back in 2015 Gypsy Vodka made way for a new era in the Petoskey Area. This era is the one of locally crafted spirits. Gypsy Distillery has since opened, and they now create 14 spirits, including Gypsy Vodka, Petoskey Stone Gin, Mackinac Island Rum, along with other limited-edition and seasonal releases.

Along with Gypsy Spirits in the Petoskey Area, you can find Muskrat Distilling exclusive to Downtown Boyne City, a Mammoth Distilling tasting room in Bay Harbor, and Burnt Marshmallow Brewstillery in Petoskey.
