ANNUAL BLISSFEST MUSIC FESTIVAL
For over 40 years now, Blissfest Music Organization has brought together folk, world, and roots music with culture, art, and community each July to Harbor Springs countryside with Blissfest Music Festival. This wonderful music festival is a weekend long camping experience that also be enjoyed via day pass as well. Come walk, shop around the many craft vendors, dance, and sing along with other beautiful people during northern Michigan summer. Life is Bliss!
STROLL THE STREETS – Boyne City
During the summer in Boyne City, the streets downtown come alive with live music on street corners and in front of businesses for Stroll the Streets each Friday evening. Typically you can expect Stroll the Streets to begin in June and finish in September. STREET MUSIQUE – Harbor Springs
In collaboration with Blissfest Music Organization, the Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce organizes Street Musique in Downtown Harbor Springs each summer on Thursday evenings. Dance in the streets and enjoy a summer night in Downtown Habor Springs.
BLUEGRASS BY THE BAY
Each September for a select weekend, you can find local, regional, and national bluegrass artists throughout the Petoskey Area during Bluegrass by the Bay. This event is a collaboration between Lavender Hill Farm, Great Lakes Center for the Arts, Crooked Tree Arts Center, Blissfest Music Organization, and Petoskey Area Visitors Bureau. During this festival, there is one free concert available in the park and several ticketed events.
BAY VIEW MUSIC FESTIVAL
Each summer season within historic Bay View Association there are a mix of professional and pre-professional programs of vocal and instrumental music for the whole family. To view their entire season program check out the Bay View Music Festival at Bay View Association’s website HERE.
