The Petoskey Stone

Named the state stone of Michigan in 1965 officially, the Petoskey Stone, is a Lake Michigan treasure that visitors love to search for on their trips to the area. What was once a colonial coral, hexagonaria percarinata, in the Devonian period over 350 million years ago now can be found on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron shoreline.

Historic Bay View Association

This century old Victorian community lies just east of Petoskey and is a seasonal community to over 800 residents. In addition to being a National Historic Landmark, Bay View offers extensive summer activities for all.

Sky Bridge Michigan

Located at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, SkyBridge Michigan opened to the public in October of 2022. Known as the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge it is accessible by Boyne’s Hemlock Chairlift.

Lavender Hill Farm

Lavender Hill Farm, located in Boyne City, invites visitors of all ages to explore the farm and experience the sight, scent, and taste of lavender. Take a guided golf cart tour, visit the gift shop, or take part in one of the many activities on the farm.
