Join the Lavender Hill Farm Agricultural Team for an intro to the world of processing and distillation, Processing & Distillation 101 Workshop on Thursday, July 2oth at 1 pm. Class starts with a tour of the farm while discussing the history and uses of lavender, the different varieties that are commonly grown for oil production, and the harvesting process. Visit their drying shed full of hundreds of hanging bunches and learn how to properly clean and prepare the lavender for distillation by hand screening. Step into our still house to learn the basics of distillation and gain knowledge of the benefits of lavender essential oil and hydrosol.
