Great Lakes Center for the Arts

The Great Lakes Center for the Arts offers a year-round line-up of world-class events across all genres of the performing arts—music, dance, theater, cinema, intellectual dialogue, and more, including a robust education program—making the Center a cultural and social hub for residents of and visitors to northern Michigan.

Built on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Center houses a beautifully crafted, intimate 525-seat theater with a large stage and state-of-the-art features that meet the demands of internationally acclaimed artists and performing groups.

Patrons enjoy special events in the Community Engagement Room and socialize on the Rooftop Terrace overlooking Lake Michigan with a Donor Lounge reserved for the Center’s most generous friends.
