Passion. Excitement. Drama. Tradition.
Where do you find all those things? At the Young Americans Dinner Theatre at Boyne Highlands Resort in the northern Michigan resort town of Harbor Springs.
Passion? You’ve never seen a group of young people more passionate about what they do. And what they do is sing and dance their way into your heart. You can’t attend a Young Americans performance and not see in each of those smiling faces the passion that brought them to this Harbor Springs’ stage.
Excitement! This international group of young performers will have you bouncing in your seats in anticipation of the next act. Just try to keep up with all that’s going on. It’s so much fun that you don’t know where to look!
Drama? It’s not just singing and dancing – personas are created and acting is all a part of the appeal. These young people know their way around a stage
Tradition? The Young Americans Dinner Theatre is a summertime tradition for many who come back to the Petoskey Area in northern Michigan year after year to witness the evolution of their favorite performers. The show itself is a tradition of great talent and a celebration of music, dancing and embracing individuality – and it’s now in its 40th year at its home at Boyne Highlands!
This year’s show, “Showstoppers” is no exception to the past 39 years of wonderful performances and there’s a little something for everyone. Today’s hits will keep the younger generation happy, the oldies will keep parents and grandparents happy and the Broadway hits will leave everyone wanting more.
Arrive early and mingle while enjoying a drinks, appetizers and some early evening tunes. Then you’ll be ushered in to the performance area for a wonderful dinner served by the cast.
The Young Americans Dinner Theatre is the 2nd longest running dinner theatre in the country – and with good reason. It’s fabulous!
