Winter Wonderland Weekend - Petoskey 2025

Join Petoskey Downtown for Downtown Petoskey’s Winter Wonderland Weekend on February 14 – 16, 2025

The festival will feature ice carving demonstrations, downtown shopping, restaurant specials, a scavenger hunt through downtown shops, and a Downtown Dollars shopping contest. Don’t forget about the Downtown Petoskey Social District that allows to-go alcoholic beverages from select vendors.

Event Schedule (1/20/2025 Updated):

Thursday, February 13:

• Ice sculptures begin to be set up throughout downtown.

Friday, February 14:

• Ice Sculptures Installed
• Sweet Treat Stroll (1-6 pm): Celebrate Valentine’s Day with complimentary sweet treats at participating stores!
• Cupid’s Clues – A Downtown Valentine’s Word Hunt (All Weekend)
  • Visitors will hunt for these clues throughout downtown and unscramble the message for a chance to win Downtown Dollars! Three winners will be chosen randomly.
• Winter Warmer Drink Contest (All Weekend): Bars, restaurants, coffee shops, cafes will have Winter Wonderland Festival Drink Specials and compete in a Winter Warmer Drink Contest.

Ice Sculptures can be found throughout downtown at participating businesses!

Additional Winter Weekend Events:

• Winter Wonderland Walk (Friday and Saturday evenings): Enjoy sculptures and luminaries in the Pensylvania Park in Downtown Petoskey.
• Live Ice Carving (Saturday, February 15 at noon).

• Drop-in Craft at the Petoskey District Library.
• Free Open Studio at Crooked Tree Arts Center.
• Watershed Discovery Center (open for exploration) at Ruth Tucker Harris Watershed Discovery Center
• Winter Wagon Rides (Sunday, February 16, 12 pm–4 pm): Enjoy free Clydesdale-drawn wagon rides downtown (accommodates 10 adults).
