Visit May 3rd for the 2014 Whitewater Rendezvous on the BearTucked into the middle of Petoskey, Michigan, is an unexpected attraction – a whitewater course which opened in May of 2011. One of few places in the state to offer the experience, the Bear River course starts out flat and includes drops ranging from Class I to Class III.

Once a peaceful, easy ride, the Bear now boasts a mile and a half of fun that will toss and turn those looking for fun and adventure on the water.

The more than 75-foot drop and this winter’s 182+ inches of snow mean high water levels and a fast flow.
