Dot Mandala Workshop at Lavender Hill Farm

Please join local artist, Sister 2 Sister Henna & Botanicals, for a craft & sip Dot Mandala Workshop at Lavender Hills Farm!

Humans have always been drawn to and fascinated by circular designs.  A great example of that is the Mandala.  Considered to be of Eastern origin, Mandala is a Sanskrit word that translates to “circle”. In today’s world the process of creating a Mandala is used for its calming and relaxing effect on the mind and body.  When we unplug from our electronics to sit quietly and paint circular and symmetrical shapes, our creativity begins to naturally flow, and we enter a meditative state.

In this class, we will learn the basic steps of how to create a Dot Mandala on smooth stones using acrylic paints and dotting tools.
