Boyne Mountain was the first of the Boyne Resorts, a title we hold proudly. A rich history from making history starting with the first chairlift brought in by train from Sun Valley, Hemlock, to the days when Stein Eriksen led our Snowsports School and most recently, the installation of the Midwest’s first eight-person chairlift, Disciples 8. Being first is kind of our thing. We’re in the business of inventing fun. Let’s celebrate all the fun and shenanigans from the past 75 years beginning January 10, exactly 75 years from our Grand Opening in 1949.
