Bird Walk at Whiting Park

Please join the Whiting Park Centennial Committee and the Petoskey Regional Audubon Society for a bird walk at the beautiful Whiting Park on Lake Charlevoix.

Friday, May 26 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Meet at the Green Building

Anticipate walking approximately 1-2 miles but will also provide a “big sit” area for participants that prefer to stay in place to observe birds. Wear comfortable shoes, wear appropriate clothing for the weather, anticipate insects, and bring your binoculars (some are available for loan). Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch and join others in discussing your birding observations.  Cheese, crackers & lemonade were provided. No pets, no smoking, and children welcome under the supervision of a responsible adult.
