6th Annual Balloons Over Bay Harbor 2025

Balloons Over Bay Harbor is back for its 6th Annual event on Friday, September 12th, through Sunday, September 14th. During this hot air balloon festival, you can witness four hot air balloon flights from take off to soaring through the skies over Bay Harbor and Lake Michigan. Other fun things include: balloon-themed paint & sip, family paint activity, tethered balloon rides, pilot and crew meet & greet, hot air balloon night glow show, artisan market, food trucks, and MORE!

 

As you can imagine, the flight of these balloons is very weather-dependent, and the launch location could shift in the case of inclement weather. It is best to keep an eye on the event’s Facebook page leading up to and on the day of the event for updates!

We can’t wait to bring back these beautiful balloons, as well as fun family activities throughout the weekend in Bay Harbor.

Friday: 

4 PM Artisan Market Opens

• Face Painting /Henna

5:30 PM Balloon Launch from Marina Lawn**

Saturday:

7:30 AM Balloon Launch from Marina Lawn**

10 AM 5K Dog Walk + Dog Show for BISSELL Pet Foundation (fundraiser)

10 AM – 4 PM Tethered BALLOON RIDES on Marina Lawn ($25/Adult; $15/Kid)

10 AM Artisan Market Opens

11 AM / 2 PM Family Balloon Painting Activity

12 PM Food Trucks Open (Brisket Barn, Wasabi Kitchen, and The Rogue Pierogi)

4 PM Pilot and Crew Meet + Greet on Marina Lawn

5:30 PM Balloon Launch from Marina Lawn**

6 PM Paint & Sip with Daniel Duncan (registration required)
