The Works of Ansel Adams Will Add More Beauty to the Petoskey Area

Artist Ansel Adams opened minds and hearts with his black and white photography and we’re so excited to have his work in the Petoskey Area for the summer. Visitors in June, July, August and September will be treated to a wonderful exhibit at the Petoskey location of the Crooked Tree Arts Center. After months of hard work, CTAC Executive Director/President Liz Ahrens and her staff have made it possible for residents and guests in northern Michigan to take in “Ansel Adams: Masterworks.” The showing is the museum collection curated by naturalist and environmentalist Adams himself, and encompasses 48 of his black and white images. The breathtaking works of Adams are just the beginning of what’s in store for art enthusiasts. In addition to this exhibit, which will be available to patrons seven days a week, the Arts Center has arranged other programming to complement the photographer’s beautiful nature-inspired art. So, what’s developing at Crooked Tree Arts Center for this celebration of Ansel Adams and his passion?
