Winter arrived in the Petoskey Area on a puff of cold air and the promise of one of the area’s best amenities – snow. What a gift, as all three of our ski areas – Boyne Highlands, Nub’s Nob and Boyne Mountain – opened not only in time for Thanksgiving, but the week before! And as always when the blanket of white erased autumn hues, I started to think about the holidays and gift giving.

When the winter holidays hit, there’s no better present than a gift card to one of our three ski areas. Give your friends and family some memories that will be treasured for years to come, in the place known as a Michigan treasure.

Boyne Mountain offers gift cards that can be used for lift tickets to ski/ride, a splash of fun at Avalanche Bay™ Indoor Waterpark, horseback riding through a snow-covered forest, a relaxing spa getaway and so much more!

Nub’s Nob will get your gift recipient on the slopes with Cool Cash Cards to use during their time at Nub’s! Cool Cash Cards can be used to pay for lift tickets or rental, and in the general store, cafeteria, bar, and tune center.

And Boyne Highlands gift cards are good for a slew of great times including skiing/boarding lift tickets and rentals, adventurous zipline rides, a romantic meal at the enchanting Aonach Mor Moonlight Dinner (with a sleigh ride to the top), and a bunch of other activities.

Don’t forget to find a place to stay. Plan a visit by choosing a special lodging package or a favorite place. Reservationists will be happy to help you.

Make the holidays a little easier this year and give a gift from the Petoskey Area. Or put one these ideas on your own wish list. Enjoy the season!
