The Petoskey Area is home to 3 of Michigan’s best ski resorts: The Highlands, Nub’s Nob Ski Area, and Boyne Mountain. Boyne Mountain was the first of the group, founded in 1947 in Boyne Falls. Nub’s Nob opened in 1958 while The Highlands open in 1963!
Located at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, SkyBridge Michigan opened to the public in October of 2022. Known as the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge it is accessible by Boyne’s Hemlock Chairlift.
