Colonial Inn has launched Call of the Wild, a private sailing charter experience inviting guests and visitors to see Harbor Springs from the water and explore the clear, calm waters of Little Traverse Bay.

The new offering expands the guest experience at Colonial Inn, giving travelers a relaxed way to enjoy the shoreline, surrounding historic neighborhoods, and signature views that have long made Harbor Springs one of Northern Michigan’s most beloved waterfront destinations.

Call of the Wild charters are designed for private groups and guided by Captain Charlie MacDonald, with each sail tailored to feel personal, easy, and memorable. Open to both hotel guests and the public, cruises travel past the waterfronts of Harbor Springs, Harbor Point, and Wequetonsing, with select routes extending across Little Traverse Bay toward Petoskey, Bay Harbor, and Charlevoix
