The area’s premier choral, Little Traverse Choral Society, celebrates its 35th anniversary with a program celebrating the importance of music in our lives and community, and in praise of the natural beauty that surrounds us. With the world première of a commissioned piece by Northern Michigan composer, Jeff Cobb, which draws on Ojibwe culture and lore to tell a deeper story about not only the beauty, but the meaning and impact of each of the seasons, there is also music by Franz Schubert, Leonard Bernstein, Gwyneth Walker, and Eric Whitacre, amongst others.
