Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra presents ‘From Vienna with Love,” a Night of Waltzes at 7 pm on Thursday, July 20th at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts.
From Vienna with Love will celebrate elegant music favorites from Vienna: waltzes, polkas, and quadrilles by Strauss, Lehar, Delibes, and more, including the Blue Danube Waltz and the overture to Die Fledermaus. The GLCO, led by Maestro Libor Ondras, will be joined by celebrated local vocalists Amy Joy Cross (soprano) and Jamie Beth Platte (mezzo-soprano) in beloved opera arias and duets.
Concert tickets include an optional pre-concert talk at 6 pm by Libor Ondras, as well as a post-concert reception.
