Boyne City Morel Mushroom Hunt

During Boyne City’s National Morel Mushroom Festival, the Kiwanis Club of Boyne City will hold a Morel Mushroom Hunt on Saturday, May 20 from 8:30 am – 11:30 am.

Jump on a school bus and head out to the beautiful northern Michigan wilderness for a timed morel mushroom hunt. Participants will be in the woods a total of 90 minutes while soaking in the beautiful scenery, smelling the fresh spring air and soil, and listening to wildlife scuttle through all while keeping a keen eye for those treasured morel mushrooms. After the hunt Kiwanis Club will count your treasures and return them to you. A winner will take home bragging rights and a trophy!

Transportation to and from the hunting location is included in the registration fee.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as there is no guarantee space will be available the morning of the hunt.
