65th Little Traverse Yacht Club Ugotta Regatta

Little Traverse Yacht Club (LTYC) will host the 65th edition of Ugotta Regatta July 24 -26, 2026, on Little Traverse Bay.

This year, we are showcasing OCR (Offshore Cruising Racing yachts) returning to our traditional format of Tour of the Bay racing on Saturday and Sunday.  All boats (including smaller one-design) will sail this format.  Tour of the Bay courses circumnavigate our Bay and sail various distances of 12 – 23 nautical miles.  This provides tactical and shoreline strategy for the sailors and optimum spectating from all corners of our Bay.  Most of these racing machines will be between 48’ and 70’, having just completed both the Chicago and Bayview Mackinaw Races, along with the GL 52’s.

Racing Friday will be Buoy Type racing for One Design Boats, including the Grand Prix GL 52 racing machines.
