Comedian Dusty Slay will be performing at Great Lakes Center for the Arts on March 25th. Seen on the Netflix comedy series The Standups, The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Comedy Central!
Stand-up comedian Dusty Slay grew up poor on Lot 8 of a mobile home neighborhood in Opelika, Alabama, with a love for classic country and rock and a career history peppered with jobs like waiting tables and selling pesticides. The trucker hat, long hair and mustache, flannel shirt, and oversized glasses aren’t affectations to cultivate a stage persona as the B-side of a 1970s Bob Seger track—it’s just Dusty.

Join Bay View Association for a performance of Blood, Sweat & Tears on Friday, July 21st at 8 PM.
Blood, Sweat & Tears is not the first band to ever use a horn section, but they are the first to fuse it with rock, jazz, and some blues thrown in for good measure. From the first ensemble in the late sixties practicing in a loft on Bleeker Street in New York’s Greenwich Village and having crowds clapping on the street below between songs, founding member and drummer Bobby Colomby knew they were on the right course.
