Tumbao Bravo

Tumbao Bravo. Winner of three Detroit Music Awards, this exciting combo presents the authentic rhythms of Cuba with rich, jazz harmonic, and original compositions written by band members.

Mambo, cha cha cha, rumba, and bolero are some of the Afro-Cuban patterns explored. The instrumentation includes congas, bongos, timbales, guiro, claves, cowbell, saxophones, flute, piccolo, trumpet, flugelhorn, piano, and acoustic/electric bass. A presentation appropriate for all ages.
