The Little Traverse Historical Museum invites the community to its annual Corn Roast Cookout on August 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., held in the museum park. This festive event promises an evening of delicious food and fun, all while supporting the museum’s mission to enrich the community by preserving, showcasing, and sharing the history of the Little Traverse Bay area. Proceeds will benefit the Little Traverse Historical Society.
Real Estate One, this year’s premier sponsor, will be joining museum volunteers in serving a delectable menu that includes brats, hot dogs, roasted corn, tomato salad, coleslaw, watermelon, potato salad, and brownies.

This year’s corn roast is especially significant as the Little Traverse Historical Society celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Little Traverse Historical Museum. The museum’s general summer hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with free entry for children and members, and a $3 fee for non-members.
