Hike where history happened! Explore the natural and geological history of Harbor Springs with Doug Fuller during one of our “Natural Harbor Springs” walking tours on Friday, May 6 or Friday, May 20. Both tours begin at 1:00 pm at the Harbor Springs History Museum (349 E Main St).
Register today to take part in this unique, 3-mile tour highlighting the bluffs, sand spits and water features that make up the distinctive landscape of our town. The tour includes steps and steep inclines as well as a trek through the trails of the Naas, Mauger, Raunecker, and Leslie Nature Preserve off 4th Street.
This round-trip tour takes roughly 2-1/2 to 3 hours to complete. Guests who would like a shorter hike have the option to return after one hour, before the rest of the group enters the nature preserve.
